What if stereotypes can be eliminated?

If stereotypes can be wiped out from the face of earth, would you want that? And how would the world be like without it?

  3. I agree with Kevin that stereotypes can be wiped out. They exist because they're usually true, based on a majority of the group, but the problem is that they are applied to the whole. A world without stereotypes just means that everyone is the same, and that would be a boring, grey, world.

  4. It seems impossible to wipe out stereotypes from our world. It will be boring without stereotypes

  5. I think if stereotypes can be eliminated then everyone will judge others through other things. On a second thought, I think its impossible. We will always judge. Its like our instinct. I think it just depends on if you take action or not. Otherwise they are just thoughts.

  6. I don't think stereotypes should be wiped out from the face of the earth cause in doing so you would be getting rid of a part of your culture.
If stereotypes were wiped out from everyone would be the same, and that would be boring. There would be no sharing cultures, no learning about other places. It would be a black and white world.

  7. stereotypes happen because it is how our brain works. I always try to simple things out, and if stereotypes are eliminated, soon we will find other ways to insult one another

  8. I think us humans will always find ways to stereotype others. If its not by race it'll be by where we live or where we grew up. Even though stereotyping can be terrible, I'd want it to stick around because it makes us different and unique. It gives us something to whine and complain about on a daily basis.

  9. It would be an extremely positive thing to happen to our existence if this were to happen. People would see each other as equals rather than looking at the physical differences between each other's cultures.

  10. well I don't think stereotypes would ever be wiped out since there's always point to be that one person that points something out you know? But if it ever was totally gone then I'd think that a lot of comedians would have to find other things to form jokes from, life would be kinda bland

  13. If stereotypes were removed i think people would still think of stereotypes no matter what just probably wouldn't be so open to it. But stereotypes aren't necessarily a negative thing in all cases.

  14. For example, if we look at Japan, they have stereotypes about people that go beyond race, culture, etc, because they pretty much all have a similar race and culture. Humans will eventually find stereotypes no matter what, it is inevitable.
