fob means fresh off the boat. I've also heard "filipino on Bacation" because many filipinos with hard accents usually pronounce words with the letter "V" as the letter "B". It's just to make fun
The term means "fresh off the boat" and means people who had just come to America. I don't feel like it's that bad of a word actually because most my fob friends call themselves fobs as well.
I think fob is a negative word used to put down Asians. I think it implies that you're not fit in America.
